I recently baught a 2003 sunfire with the 2.2 Ecotec, After 5 days of having it the head gasket blew and the dealer was going to fix it. BTW the car had 148,00 miles on it. Then i got a call saying that there were metal shavings in my oil, so there taking a 2.2 Ecotec from a caalier and putting it in my car. The new engine has 98,000 miles and i was jw what i have to watch out for
Anytime you put something in the car that it didnt originally come with is going to be reason to watch out. Just keep a close eye.
