Ok heres the deal.. I have another ECO motor, going to build and boost it.. what Hp will the crank hold.. I was going to send it out to get treated.. Is that better then buying another crank?? Im confused on this please help
The crank will hold upwards of 500 hp. The first thing that goes on the eco are the rods.
Oh ok.. thats what I thought. so the internals I need are rods, piston, and gaskets.
Anyone know what the Valves go at??? Thanks for any info you can pass on
eco's are actually pretty boost friendly, all things considered. There is no need for o-ringing, or sleeving, or different head gaskets, until about 350whp... The main things to change would be the rods(1st), and lower compression pistons/rings. A P&P on the head with some turbo grind cams'd probably do wonders also..
