Need more outta my 2.2 ecotec, just out 18" cobalt ss rims on her, looks fast but isnt haha. I'm interested in moding the exhaust, cold air, moderate bolt on stuff. Any suggestions????
I also Have a 2.2 ecotec on a 2007 mailibu, pretty much so far all ive been able to find is the replacement K&NN filter. lol If you find something let me know, please. I was also thinking would performance parts from a cobalt or even a pontiac solstice turbo fit on ours, sincce they are the same engines.?
Most ecotec parts are interchangeable. The S/C and Turbo systems off the 2.0L Ecotecs will bolt up, but you need some way of tuning your ecu. HPTuners is very popular with cav/sunfire owners, but i am unsure if Malibus are supported.
The header on my 2.2L eco cav was mocked up and test fitted on a 2.0L S/C Cobalt and i have the S/C set-up off the same car.
