Is there any smog equipment on a L61 besides the catalytic converter?

i dont think so no. but im not %100 sure.

i know there low emission engines but i was hoping there was some smog stuff i can remove to make my car perform better

yeah i know my brother just bypassed his smog pump on his 92 fox body mustang. and i asked him and he said no our cars dont have a smog pump, and were i live we have to have a cat converter, but ive got a high flow cat. to get rid of as much restriction as possible.

i live in idaho no emmisions

i was going to do weapon-r 421 header to a catback does that sound good?

um... i have heard bad htings about weapon r.. but you have to make sure the pipe from your cat to your header isnt stock. or else your not gonna pick up any real gains, id do custom pipe from the header to a cat if you want one to a muffler, or header custom BIGGER pipe cat or no cat. to a glass pack or muffler with tips. im not a fan of cat back.. it just makes me think of like a half-ass job ya know? like my exhuast isnt finished or something. ha, but its your car so. but when you do your exhaust take a vid and post it.
