I was just wondering if it would hurt anything if I just take the plastic cover off, and leave it off, that coveres my engine. I take it off to change the oil and stuff, but will I like screw something up if I leave it?
I also Want to know if it's possible to add a new header... and leave the stock exhaust... or vice versa.
you can do both and ull be good....i would save for a full exhaust though

The only reason I don't want a full exhaust is because I hate the way it sounds when the RPM's get up very high. My brother has a full exhaust on his ZX2, and personally I hate it. Is there a way to stop that God-awful sound and still have a full exhaust? Money isn't really a problem.
yea get a good exhaust like borla or magnaflow

Is the resonator what keeps it from making that crappy noise? And does it really hurt performance?
Yeah, the longer the resonator the less raspy the sound tends to be. If that's the god awful sound your talking about.
