RK Sport underdriven crank or stock sized pulley?
Sunday, June 24, 2007 6:46 PM
I have a sound system in the back of the car that is about 1600 watts, so would the rk sport under driven crank be a bad move on my part? I know it gives less power to some accessories so i wasnt sure? I have a capacitor in the back also if that makes a difference or not? Lemme know.

I also have a yellow optima battery. I dont wanna buy this part and have the battery be draining on me.

Since your sound system is demanding such a large amount of power from your battery, taking away power from accessories wouldn't be necessarily a good idea...which is what the underdrive pulley would do. Stick with the stock size lightweight pulley.

I'd also suggest investing a Capacitor for your stereo system (if you don't have one already)
