Gonna pick up a Magnaflow Hi-Flow cat and get a custom 2 1/4" cat-back exhaust...I was just checking to see if anyone on here has the Magnaflow cat and will it still pass an e-test?? Any power gains with the cat?? I can pick one up down the road for $79.99 CDN but didnt want to install it and the exhaust then not pass the e-test...

As long as you don't throw any codes from the 2nd O2 sensor, you should be fine.

they tested most hi flow cats on the ecotec and not a one threw any codes you will be fine. sure gm knows what they were doing.
magnaflow sells a high flow cat that is 0bd2 safe looks for that one
