Hey guys, I am new here so if someone has asked this already please direct me to the right thread.
I need to know if there are nay differences between the 05 and 06 2.2 ecotec. Reason being is that I am looking upgrade the intake and exhaust fairly soon on my 06 LS and need to know if there are any differences between the parts cause I have not seen much for the 06 yet besides lowering springs and body kits

i dont think so either... call the MFG of the parts you want to buy and ask them if theyll fit.
what kind of car do you have? I know the cavaliers intake runs to the driver side where as on the 2.2L cobalts it runds to the passenger side.......the only other difference i know is the 05 were rated @140hp and the 2.2Lcobalts were rated @145hp dont know what they did to get the extra 5hp

So then whats in my car and what does the eletric pump do to gain power for the cobalt? sorry dont mean to jack this thread

Your 02 ecotec uses a power steering pump that's run off the cams. This adds some drag to the engine.
Instead they use an electric pump to turn the psp.
So would this be something I could take from the base cobalts for a little more power for my car? or is it more complicated and not worth it?
