I wanted to know do you need to sleeve the ecotec block when installing new pistons cause i want to get a port and polished head and i wanted to do rods and pistons but wiseco recommends sleeving the block. Can someone give me some info. Thanks.

Darton makes a sleeve kit for the 2.2L We actually carry it. Email us with any questions. I think they are about $600 for the set.

The Sleeves are not required, I'm also doing an Ecotec build up. I have wisco 8.9:1 compression pistons with a .20 overbore, and eagle rods, I looked into it and you DO NOT have to sleeve your engine, the stock sleeves are capable of handling your application. if you have more questions you can e-mail me at bishop_38@hotmail.com good luck with your build man.

No the sleeves are not needed for any application less than about 400HP, anything over that and I would consider getting a set.

Email us on Wiseco pistons... new lower prices
