I am very interested in swaping in a 2.0 turbo ecotec into my 00' 2200 cavalier. I am wondering where the best place to look for one would be. What parts would you suggest I get? Any help would be great.
Are you talking about a 2.2 with a turbo or a 2.0 SC?
And then the answer would be... search and read up on it...

I think hes talkin about the new crate motor 2.0 S/C from GM
I don't think it'd be a bolt-up affair.....
you should wait for more specs though...
or wait for the cobalt WITH the 2.0 S/C motor

well actually I was looking for the 2.0 turbo...
what car you know has a 2.0 TURBO ECO?
the only one I can think of is one of the GM concept cars
with boosted ECOs....
the ECO Dragsters have 2.0 Turbos....
heres an idea....
get the 2.0 S/C block from GM, take off the S/C, and slap on a turbo!
that block is built for boost!

saab's have 2.0L ecotecs /w turbos, not sure of the models that do, but I'm thinking 9-3 and 9-5. Might want to check up on that.
yeah the saabs have them.... but i would rather swap in the 2.0 supercharged eco
Adam, he asked for a 2.0L ecotec /w a turbo, not a supercharger, and both forms of boost have their advantages and disadvantages too.
I have a brand new turbo and manifold/lines for a Saab 9-3t (0 run time)...I am collecting parts for a custom turbo setup, however I do want to see how much the GM SC is and how it is... warranty preservation might be enough for me to scrap this project, anyhow, I may be selling this turbo and manifold, it bolts to the 2.2L head, so we'll see...
Hey, FF22, if you're selling the turbo/manifold, I might be interested. Let me know.
