i recently purchased the rk sport intake for the ecotec and im having some trouble installing it...... i see 2 sensors going into the stock s-tube, and the rk only has 1 spot for a sensor. one looks like its coming from the fuel rail and the other looks like its coming from the head.....and advice on this will be greatly appreciated.
i forgot to add that i have a 2002 model ecotec, dont know if that makes a difference or not
larger hose to larger nipple.
Sensor goes into the hole.
i know the large hose hooks up the large nipple but there is 2 sensors going to the s-tube....they are right next to each other.
2 sensors? do you have a pic?
There's three things that go into the intake system.
PCV hose
Vacuum nipple for fpr
and IAT (intake air temp) sensor
I am using the RK Sport Air Intake for Ecotec engines. The only hole on my intake is the one for the IAT, intake air temp sensor. I've relocated this sensor using the remote IAT kit from Jet Engineering. I've also put in an Air Intake sensor (a Cyberdyne air temp sensor) into this aluminum tube about 1 foot from the air filter inlet) to monitor air intake temperature. I'm not familiar with the wires you mention.
