anyone looked into swaping the head off of the new cobalt ss-non s/c-the 2.4L w/V.V.T onto a 2.2 Eco? i have an 05 cavalier and want to try something like that if at all possible....

I'm not sure it will or won't fit. But, if it can, you will also need to replace some wiring and PCM so the computer would be able to control the VVT in the head. Might also need to replace other electrical components like fuse block the engine harness connects to, and possibly the BCM.
i figured as much-im guessing it would probably be more beneficial to jus swap out the whole motor, computer and wiring harness bcm.....a whole lot of work for sum extra valve--anyone else heard bout trying this?

youd be better off buying the cobalt
the vvt isnt easy to mess with , plus allthe newer eco are drive by wire , even more fum to mess with
youd be better messung with the cobalt , or just using the 2.4 bottom end to replace the 2.2
