Grand Am 2.2 Ecotec SLP exhaust

I installed a SLP stainless steel exhaust on my 2.2L Ecotec. It's listed for the V6 and it bolts onto the flange behind the cat converter. All the hangers are in the same place. The hardest part of the installation was getting the old flange bolts cut off. It took about two hours to put everything on after the stock system was removed. Getting the pipe over the axle took a couple of tries because it has a hanger welded onto it.

It's louder than stock since the resonator is removed. I am getting better MPG's and a better sound too.

There are pictures of the exhaust and engine on my Cardomain site. I won the "Best Engine" award at the GAOC/ECM meet in Albany, July 2005. I have a bunch of home made mods all over the car.

I also dropped 10 pictures into my photobucket account. http://photobucket.com/albums/b72/tenspeed/SLP%20exhaust/
