I think you will find that is a european only engine they take tuning way more serious there than here in the states

This particular 'ecotec' is only available in europe, its a pretty old design - fully cast iron etc...

Yes also note that this particular ecotec is the older version with the Cam on lifter setup. (much like a 2.4L) instead of the Roller follower and lifter setup like the US version.
Isn't that engine he has there basically the older Saturn based engine?

Totaly different animal the what we have in our cars. Its nice no doubt but we mat as well be compairing our engines to that of a Nissan. Its GM in Europe, nothing like what we have.
