It might be your BCM. Either needs reflashing, or a new one to match the year of the engine. Which a new one would need to =be flashed anyways.
It might also be you need the new gauges. Not sure.
I'm getting ready to do an eco swap. I was needing to know a couple things:
Did you have to replace the ECM/PCM, or get it reflashed?
you have to change the PCM and the cluster also.
Its all different. you need everything from a reck eco cars to get it worked out for the swap.

2000+ you should not need to replace the BCM or the instrument cluster, the only reason I can think of that you would have to replace these is if you were changing from a auto to a stick or vise versa, but i don't know that for sure. I have been talking to Suncavi, I am doing the same swap, I need no internal wiring changes since I am a '02. pre 2000's have allot more to do, those people need a BCM, internal wiring that wasn't there before, gauge cluster, master brake cylinder, radiator, hoses, oil cooler, the list goes on.
the PCM is a whole different story.
