Now i know this can be done with the eco, and it's not a bad goal to set. But what are we looking at here as far as parts are concerned? Anyone have any ideas? Off the top of my head i can think of exhaust, intake, camsthrottle body......but after that im drawing a blank, what can you guys come up with?
Higher compression pistons and connecting rods.
Port & polish the head & 3 angle valave job
Oversized valaves
Better roller lifters / followers
Port the intake manifold
Supercharger, turbo, or NOS
Are a few more things you can do.

Learn to read- the topic reads NA
- the Ecotec already has a 3 angle valve job
- just what would you suggest is better than the factory roller followers and lash adjusters?
- port the phenolic intake manifold??

It turns out a well-tuned stock 10:1 2.2-liter Ecotec in the above configuration actually develops 168 crankshaft hp (wich is above the factory rating of 140-150 as installed in various vehicles in the United States and Europe).
