I am HIGHLY interested in the ecotec, and am curious if a HM-282 getrag will bolt up?
If no, I would buy an ecotec with tranny for a swap project I am looking into. I was initially looking at a quad 4, but the aluminum block, and torque specs for a turbo application really sold me.
How does the stock 5 speed hold up? Anyone with any issues?
Suggestions on what to beef up?
i have lost the syncro for fifth and am trying to find a stock shifter to take it in for warranty
