I'm new here, I live in Italy and own an Opel/Vauxhall Speedster, a roadster (lotus Elise twin) that uses the 2.2 ECOTEC 16V engine.....

here is my story:

I am in the process to install a supercharger kit on my toy...
I need to sort de-compressed pistons and stronger rods......

so I find the site.............. MANTAPART.COM.

I decide to order pistons, rods, clutch and flywheel, for a total of 2000$ shipped.

ONE MONTH went by since the order, (jan 7) AND the payment through Paypal.

I DID NOT HEAR A PEEP from them SINCE.

ALL my e-mails are being IGNORED, and so are my phone-calls.

(before the order, they would answer EVERY e-mail w/in hours...)

a friend from Sweden placed an order before me, and he is being treated THE SAME.

question for you guys:

do you know anybody that purchased something from this company?
do you know someting about its reputation?

thanks a lot for any help you can provide....

there have been alot of stories about Mantapart's service, most of them being "I haven't got my part in like a year". Do a search on the JBO for these stories.....

A little more work, but check a few other forums as well. You will see that Mantapart is horrible. The general opinion here is that for every 1 person with a good experience, theres 5 who are still waiting on parts with responces from Manta....

yea try to order COD and they ship them out right away
