I just bought a 2008 Cobalt Ls. Im looking to drop a turbo in it but i need some questions answered. Does anyone know how much boost a Ecotec 2.2L stock engine will hold before major engine modifications are needed?
Depends on the turbo. Different turbos make different hp at the same PSI. What kills engines is them not being able to support the hp. ~270-280whp is the threshold.

Did you even read what i said???? PSI is a pointless ricer figure. You pick a turbo based on your desired power level and how much CFM of air you need to move to achieve it.
