Welcome to the Forum.

Internally, all the L61s are the same and can use the same engine parts. It's the items externally that might be different like little things like intakes, exhaust systems and things of that nature. Also, I'm not sure of your PCM. It more than likely is the same as the L61 Cobalts/Ions/HHRs.

It really just depends on what you're trying to do.

Here is a list of websites that cater to ECOTEC engine platformed vehicles.

Just figure out what you want first and foremost and do as much research as possible.

Depends on what you do.

If you get an intake or exhaust, more than likely no. How it works is that if you do experience a problem, they have to prove that what you changed caused the problem on your vehicle. So if you have an intake, they have to prove that your intake caused your connecting rod to snap (which they can't), for example.

If you open up your engine, you might as well say bye bye to it if they can figure out that you opened up your engine.

So modify conciously and think before you buy anything. Think about if it's worth doing and how long you're going to have the car for. Also remember that the more you modify, the less the car is worth in resale.
