Ok i have a short shifter but no idea how to install it. I need help please. I have a 2003 pontiac sunfire ecotec 5 speed. If anyone knows detailed instructions please let me know. Thanks guys
have you gotten it in yet? i had a hard time trying to figure mine out at first but it is pretty simple one you figure it out.
I have done this install on an 02 grand am. it takes alot of time but is worth it. First you need to determine how to remove your console from the vehicle. Once that is out of the way its pretty simple. Mine had 4 bolts holding the shifting mechanism down. Make sure to mark the shift cables so you can put them back in the right place this I learned the hard way. Once you get it off it just about pops out. Then its just reassembly. Sorry I couldn't be more detailed I did this 9 months ago and I was following the directions that came with my shifter. Good luck and let me know how it goes.
