i have a 2003 ecotec cavalier auto tranny, and i am buying a 1996 cavalier 2.2 std tranny, does 1996 cavalier have all the necesary to swap transmision into mi 2003 cavalier?
i want a 2003 std cavalier and a 1996 automatic cavalier, do i need buy something?

omg no. that won't work. 03 and 96 are 2 different engines, so the transmissions will not be swappable. you'll need a getrag transmission and all the related goodies for the 03 to swap it in there. your 96 is useless for the 03.
