I'm want to see if anyone has ever tried Eibach pro kit (1.4 inch Drop front and rear) with KYB GR-2's. Can the springs compensate for the drop? Whats the possibility of the struts blowing out?
It will work but not recommended. GR2's are an oem replacement, not an improvement. Look into KYB AGX's with those springs. I had the prokit and loved it.
by the time you replace the gr2's a few times, you'll wish you'd bought the agx's.
I have the G2's. I cut the foam snubber in half that sits on top of the strut and it still road on them. Handled great somehow. But very ruff ride. The G2's I think dead quickly. KYB said they will on warranty 1" drop. I have 2" drop.
Anyone else try the AGX if they are better????
2004 ecotec 5 speed. Injen intake,better plugs and wires. Just lowered it and added a wing.
