yes the suzuki d-tec are iron ecotec motors. one difference the have on some gm cars is the intake is the back of the motor.
no you are talking the d-tec that is a daewoo motor and it is a euro ecotec, the engine head and d tec was designed by honda. i also build these too they are the same motor in the daewoo laganza and the 2.0 in the nubria. do your home work, and they are belt driven. they come over seas in the lotus and vauxhall 1982 to 2002 before the new ecotec.
do better home work, i got your email but see what cars they are in and who built them, not the USA. the engine code i use is x22xe that is from the vauxhaul vx220 that is a mid engine rear wheel drive. if you do not think i know these engine i can give you numbers to companies that meke me my race part custom. try to listen not judge, just trying to help.
