Intake manifold and exhaust are on the wrong sides.... timing chain is opposite and the transmission on that motor mounts on the passenger side. Thats a honda engine.
The X20XEV is a General Motors engine. It is a 1998cc (2.0L) 16 valve, DOHC inline 4 cylinder engine producing 100kw (136PS) [1]. It replaced the C20XE engine and was labelled by General Motors as an 'Ecotec'.
The break down of the engine name [2] is as follows:
X - Exhaust Emissions Level: 94/12/EC, stage 2
20 - 2.0L
X - Compression Ratio - 10.0-11.5:1
E - Mixture System - Injection
V - Specific Version - Volume Model
The X20XEV engine featured in many General Motors vehicles, was frequently used in Opel Omega B, used in several models of the Opel Vectra B and the Opel Calibra.
# Ecotec Family 1 and Family 0 - Straight-4 DOHC engines produced by Opel Powertrain
# Ecotec Family II - Straight-4 all-aluminum DOHC engines produced by GM Powertrain and Opel Powertrain
# Ecotec V6 - GM 3800 V6 Series II engine produced by Holden
