bestr spark plugs for turbo ecotecs??

Is there any spark plugs out there for turbo ecotecs ?? If yes who makes them and whats the part number?? and last do they offer colder heat ranges??

um honestly they are just spark plugs as long as they fire and get a strong spark who cares, turbo or not

alot of people are using srt4 stock plugs in copper.
they come in copper or platinum ...

i have the platinum but my car is n/a

Cheesecake is correct.

Another note: The reason people are using the SRT-4 plugs is cause they are a step colder than the stock 2.2 ECOTEC spark plugs and they are a direct fit.

NGK also makes spark plugs that are iridium quality and a step colder as well if you want to look into that. Send them an E-mail.

i use the iridium on my ion with 2 steps cooler and a Saturn motor sports plasma buster. the booster works great, made very noticeable difference in performance, also using iridium spark springs, this working great with the compond induction. so should work fine.

wouldnt you want a plug with a hotter spark to prevent knock???

no the boost is raising the combustion temp as it is, when the air is to hot it will vapor the fuel before spark, and make it harder to burn. the cooler plug just moves the electrode a tiny bit end gap, this makes the change you need, you want hotter or stronger spark not hotter heat range. hotter plugs are to help with cars that are not driven or do not really see a good thrashing, other wise cooler is better for any type of performance.
