Would an old turbo from those late 80s sunbird gts be a bad idea on an ecotec?
any info appreciated?
Well the turbocharger that they have is incredibley small...also you're talking about a Turbocharger that is over 15 years old.
Spend the money for quality parts.
Even if you did use it, wouldn't be as reliable as a new turbocharger and it wouldn't flow much air.

Thanks for the info.... i had my old one laying around the garage and i got thinking... lol
the turbo on the srt4's arent they really small as well.... and they hook up

From my understanding, the Turbocharger is in like one piece with the manifold with the SRT-4s.
Just buy aftermarket bro.

do you still have the sunbird turbo? if so what do you all have my girl got a 2.2, 2200 and that would fit and work great, let me know
