I went to put in my Kenwood 6*9's and found 4 wires comming from the back left and right speakers, as all you know there's only 2 on aftermarket speakers, I lost pretty much 90% of my bass cause no all wires are hooked up what's the work around to get more using the stock setup other then getting another external amp!

which car in your reg has 4 wires ???
on the 02 newer cavs
the bass was done from the subpart of the 6x9 off the amp , the tweeters work from the deck power
you would hve to use the tweeter wire in to a high to low converter and run a amp to the 6x9's
