We are trying to replace a stuck open theromostat on a 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt SS Supercharged 2.0L Ecotec.
I was just wondering how to get it out, since the cam positioning sensor is in the way. Can you unplug it safely?
Also, any easier way to get it out, without moving around all the tubing around the motor?
You can unplug the cam positioning sensors without any issues and the thermostat takes roughly 30 minutes to replace I have done mine already. The hardest part is just getting stuff out of the way.
In the meantime for drive ability sake take the damn heatshield of. It should take ya three minutes tops and vroooooooooooooom, vrrrrrrrrrrrroooooooooooooooom.
Captain the dilithuim crystals are breaking up...
