Ecotec block all the same or some are différent?

I would like to know if all 4 cylinder Ecotec motor are the same?
The difference of I need to know are only about: base engine, crank, rod, stroke piston, head, cams, valves size 2.2liter or 2.4litre or more?

Please specifies year and model of car and which motor .

Please no electronic spec only engine.
