I need some advice to get started on the wiring harness for a 2.2L Eco in an 86 Fiero GT.

What is involved in getting the Eco PCM re-flashed as a stand alone unit? And will this affect my ability to have it tuned later on?

What are the basic wires I need to keep from the Eco harness to run the engine? (it's a 5 speed)

I was contemplating going the Megasquirt route but I'm not familiar with it and getting it to manage the ignition as well seems complicated.

To make the oe controller stand alone is easy with a tunner prog like efi live. Questions? give me a call, 909 910 3867, Steve
