recently replaced a totalled 2003 Quad3 (no injuries, tough and safe car) with a 2005 Quad3. New one has an engine noise with a lurch/shudder that happens just a few seconds after start-up about 25% of the time. Occurs with the automatic in either Park or Neutral, so I don't think it is tranny related. Anyone heard of this, dealer feels that it is normal but I'm looking for more info.
unsure, I don't have that problem with my 04. I would tell them it's not normal. If they insist it is, have them demonstrate it on another 05 on the lot, to see if it does the same thing. I am calling BS on your service dept. Keep after them, that's what warranty is all about.
