Well Robert I have a sneaking feeling that GM might be making a Cobalt rally car. Thats the only reason I can see for them going for the 2.0 liter. Thats the displacement limit of WRC.

Yeah keep in mind the sunfire autocross has the same engine, but the power was bumped up to 240hp. So it's not like 205hp is the absolute limit for the motor. I think when the GM drag team was testing it they found that it could hold around 400hp before needing ANY internal work.
