Guys,

I´m a german and I`m going to source an Solstice engine ( 2,4 L-177 HP) what we intend to fit in a Opel Speedster ( VX 220) which is equipped in Germany with the 2,2 L standard ecotec. The solstice has some special features ( capacity, piston cooling jets and variable valve timing ) , thats the reason for us. Some german guys are interested as well.The solstice engine is pretty unknown in Germany and hardly to source there.
Is it possible in US to source an new engine directly from GM plant for a acceptable money?
Or are there other sources? Could anyone recommend how to manage this? We do not need a complete engine, in/ex-manifolds / loom / ECU / air condition a.s.o will be missing.
