Hellow I am here from another forum where we were discusing the new Pontiac Solstice, And the discusion turned into how the Ecotec is garbage. I don't mean to affend anybody here I am just trying to get the facts. So my queston is, how reliable it the ecotec engine? Here is a link to our discusion. Thanks

no one has come up with any proof that the ecotec is garbage, furthermore, as a GM service technician, the only problems ive seen with them regularly are the occasional failed IAC valve.
im not much for the looks of the solstice, but the miata is gonna have to step up to the plate next year when the boost version comes out.
in the meantime, someone show me a 7 second intrepid. or anything with that engine in it...
