I drive a 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier LS. I recently just had the transmission overhauled because it started slipping and the engine would flare up when I would accelerate and driving at freeway speeds it wouldn't put out enough power. I got my car back and it's still acting the same but not as much. It will slip every other time and it still doesn't put out enough power at freeway speeds. I told the mechanic and he checked it again, but said he found no problems with the transmission. He says that it sounds like it's a electrical issue. I'm no professional, but it just seems hard to believe this is an electrical issue. Unless anyone has any other ideas what might cause these problems. I'm open to any ideas. Also I want to know if anyone knows the process of how to overhaul a transmission on this vehicle so I can ask the mechanic if he replaced everything or checked everything that needs to be. I really appreciate the help.
Thanks
