I'm looking for information on doing a rear engine setup. This will be a full tube chassis setup.I'm thinking of doing it with the GM 5 speed and still mounted sideways. Specifically.......dimensions of the overall package, length and overall width. Also...the width at the axle mounting flanges?I am not as yet familiar with the shifter setup on the 5 speed. Is it cable or mechanically operated? Are there any locations I can access for my dimension specifications?Any help will be appreciated.............Norm

you will most likely find two different widths as the j-body and delta bodies are two different widths.
