noticed a weird sound coming from EVAP purge valve (part # delphi 1997278) ... almost sounds like a water hose with a kink in it making that "whining" noise.... what could be causing this? and whats the valve on the back of it that has the green cap on it for?
thats I belive is a return line for fuel the cap on back i am still trying to find out my self
couldnt tell ya about the noise except maybe some buildup is in there causing a little restriction or you have a small vacuum leak , and the green cap it a test port to test the system
its fuel returning to your tank
