hi there I am new here. right now I have an 03 sunfire with the l61 and really like the l61. I have always liked the 07 saturn astra 3 doop http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:2008_Saturn_Astra_3-door.jpg this has the ecotec 1.8L dose not have the same low end power that the l61 has. wikipedia says that the Opel Astre H in Australia has a 2.2L looked it up and it is the l61. so my ? is how hard is it to put a l61 in a astra, can it be done to the canadian one or even tho the 1.8L is VVT is there away that I can make the 1.8L into the 2.2L like swaping the top end or something like that. I am not looking to do this anytime soon but would like to know thanks.
