How Much and What sorta gains
Hi guys,
currently the Intake manifold is under testing. (Although it should be done by the end of the year). When testing is complete I will have a group purchase on j-body.org.
They are using my car as the test mule (if you wanna call it that) I will post up pictures and such when testing is complete and they being production.
Also the price will probably be around what the 2.4L manifold is selling for.
What's the 2.4 manifold selling for?

Hmm, maybe we can get it a bit cheaper with a group purchase, on jbody.org maybe might be the best bet for lots of people.. Can you give a discount for quantity?

Jobber on the manifold is $719.
That is what the price of the gp would be.
For a custom Intake manifold that is a great price. Compare to hogans racing manifolds which are $1,000. and up.
hey i blew my stock one apart so this will be great if you can get a good group purchase
deal, also twistec performance is going to release theirs soon
You guys should jig it up, and go for volume, at a lower price. The market is definitely there, at the right price.

that mani. is sick lookin
I want one of these! Is it in production yet? When can a group buy be arranged? Was quoted $1200 by mail
A friend got this:
"The ecotec Intake Manifold is by special order only! It takes about 4-6 weeks Prices as follows
M45-361 Intake Manifold - Jobber $1395.00 Your Cost- $1116.00
These prices are through BoRo Performance- Distributor for Venom Products"
...still no mass production
dam special order b.s. i want one
why is it so expensive, import duties in England knocks the price up to $1800.
Well I just got off the phone with python/venom. They have all the specs down and what not, but they said all the bends and tube routings make it difficult to make. It would take prob. 10 days to make and he also said the jobber on it would probably be $1500.
And either way I will be able to get a better final price than boro performance. So let me know if you are serious about this.
Vocky and I, we are serious, but we are in Europe. Very interested in a deal, myself, depending on the price
I would be interested as well!
I want one tooooo. Let me know when you guys are ready to sell one for group perchase.
I'm curious as to REAL performance gains. It looks like they just took the stock tuned manifold and just manufactured a metal version. It there any width or taper difference? Has it been dyno tested? <br>

looks sweet...real pricey though
The price level is around $1100 as they (Tom) state that it takes a full 10 days to build it. I agree it looks like the composite one built by a plumber, so I too would like to know how it is an improvement. Diameters nice radiuses everywhere etc.
you guys think it might just have a better chance of standing up against the amount of boost from a turbo or supercharger than the stock manifold? just a notion
Still waiting for solid info about gains and price....
