Wanted to kno if it would be safe to run race gas in a an ecotec with just a few mods. (Pacesetter Header. Vibrant Catback K&N Typhoon Intake) Or would it be completly a waste of gas? THere is really no reason for me to get it I just would like to try it. Think its 100 octane

Would not help at all. You don't have any need for higher octane. If you had boost or high compression I would say to try it but your setup would be a waste of race gas. I got almost the same setup and changing the octane doesn't help.
