hay sup...i have 2005 cobalt sedan 2.2L with K&N Typhoon intake and i would like to run exhaust at least flowmaster or magnaflow but i would like do dual exhaust with a header into a Y-pipe. please comment if you think its a good idea and what kind of exhaust to go with
Me personally, i wouldn't do it. But if you are going to do it Rksports sell a dual exhaust from Magnaflow for you car. It is raspy though because of the mufflers they use.
yeah me personally i wouldn't do it unless you like the way a focus sounds
no i dont like pissed off weed eater to much. Thats y i went through three mufflers before i stayed with my Carbon Ti muffler. At idle people say it kind of sounds like on SRT-4 but with out the turbo wistle at idle.
anytime you split a pipe you introduce turbulence and a restriction. A single exhaust of the right size will flow better than a split one.
