sorry bout all the posts but i keep gettin new questions
what type of intake is best?
The stock intake is fine, but if u want a big ma ma jamma u could go with the GM Performance Parts fab aluminum intake that recieves the 73mm t-body from the LS v-8 series engines
i have the 2.2L Ecotec though. i was just wondering which one is best because i have seen some cheap ones on ebay.
are u talking about a cold air intake
cold air intake or short ram air intake. i duno which is better for my car
an intake is a intake, i personally have the aem intake, looks nice goes in the fender well but a little too pricey. i would recommend name brand aem injen fujita
ive looked at their sites but i cant find an intake for my car only ebay seems to have one. i have 2.2L DOHC Ecotec in the Saturn L-100
i just went to that site u gave me but it doesnt have nething for my 2002 L-Series
I have their number if you would like it. I know they carry parts for this car. Call 616-636-8856 i think they close at 5 Eastern Standard Time.
i personally recommend aem, may be a little expensive but best one out there i think, but do it right dont get some intake that somebody just through together get something name brand, and half the time those thrown together kits dont fit your car .
Ive looked at brand names, no of them carry my car nor my engine. if u found it and u are sure is the 2.2L DOHC Ecotec for a 2002 Saturn L-series let me kno.
just so ya know i guess there is l100 200 300, so i didnt know which one, but didnt find anything either, if you could post up a picture of your engine bay
yeah my car comes in those 3 different levels kinda like a ion 1,2, or 3 except 100, 200 and 300. thats a good idea, i will post it up 2day.
Go to www.autopartswarehouse.com. I ordered an Injen Cold air Intake/Short ram for my Saturn Ion lvl 2, it gives it a nice sound, smooth ride and an increase in HP.
