i just got a 07 cobalt Ls Coupe and i am trying to modify it but what parts can i change and not affect my warranties?

Anything that can directly cause a engine issue will void your warranty or void whatever you change. If you get a upgraded exhaust system and you blow a piston, I am 99% sure that the exhaust system change didn't cause it to happen but if you were to turbocharge your car and you blow a piston, well, now it's VERY easy to blame it on your turbo setup.

Also, if you open your motor, you might as well forget about your warranty on your motor.
