are all of the cavalier's catback exhausts similiar in fiting wise?
All of the 3rd Gen (1995-2005) Cavaliers AND Sunfires Cat-backs are the same. Same chassis. Same fitment.
So if you see something sold for a 98 Cavalier, it will fit on your 2003 Cavalier.
Now, if you see something for a previous generation, then that's a different story but I'm assuming not.

just beware some times the rear exhaust hanger is diffrent but most times you can just get the style hanger you need
