I was wondering if it was possible to do an ecotec swap into a 2002 Saturn SL1. I'm new to the ecotec so i dont know what motor to go with. I do have my eye on the one out of the non-supercharged Cobalt SS. If anyone knows if it is possible please let me know. Also if anyone has suggestions on motors I'm all ears.

your best bet is to buld up a LL0 (dohc) and swap that in along with the ecu. done a ton of them, works every time. trying to swap in an ecotec is going to give you nothing but headaches for the most part.
