can someone tell me where i can buy the pacesetter header for our motor......i just installed a catback exhaust and would like a header to go with that.....then comes the high flow cat
thanks to any who respond
it says that "in some cases fabrication may be required".....is that true for our cars.....also how is the shipping from gravadatuning, does it take forever.
I ordered motor mounts and the CF center piece exactly 3 weeks ago from Gravana and they still haven't arrived so i'm not sure what to say about their shipping but try checking on the .org for threads about the "fabrication needed" I cant quite remember what is needed to be done so ya.....
you have to cut the stock down pipe just in front of the cat and weld the pacesetter down pipe to the cat
welding huh?......do you have to weld them reguardless of what kind of header you get.....im not an experienced welder and i dont want to have to take my car to an exhaust shop.
Then you'll probably not want to get the header.
dc sports header at alot higher cost , and the isuzu performance header with cat and even greater price
I'm hopefully getting the Isuzu header, I found one for sale locally for a 2.4 but unfortunately they dont fit Ecotecs, i dont think.
where can i find the dc sport header?
you can get the dc header from e-bay for about 450+shipping.
12.7@110MPH with 10PSI.
I Can get you the Dc Header for cheaper than that
Email me at CrazyCav98@aol.com for more info
I'd stay away from the Pacesetter header. I don't know what other members have experienced with them, but I used to have an Escort, and Pacesetter was the only option. Anyways, in the earlier models of the header, the firing order was wrong and actually took power from the car.
If you can, I'd go with another option.

Gravana Tuning sells the Pacesetter 4 into 1 header w/Armor Coat #PAC-72C1279 Headers: Pacesetter Armor-Coat 4-into-1 Header$249.99. The picture on their website shows a 4-2-1 system so verify before you buy. I'm using this same header but in black so I could paint it with Hi-Temp Stainless Steel paint from Eastwood. I bought my Pacesetter header from HiRevMotorsports but for some reason other tuners are having problems getting HiRevMotorsports to respond to inquiries about existing/placed orders, which is why I'd go with Gravana.
I'd go dc sport from summit racing. Ceramic is a little more expensive, but looks extremely better after a long period of time, and adds a little more power. Little like 2 or 3 wheel horse.
