ecotec rear engine rock crawler

the ecotec has become a popular choice of rock crawl moon buggies... they are run in a rear engine design mated with powerglides, all i have seen are turbo'd and most are comming from a company called turn key.... our 06 chassis will have one of these babies in there... im told the one were setting up will have 425hp...i here these engines are pretty durable, allthough in rock crawling a few motors have been toasted, most of this cases was due to driving at extreme angles and loosing oil pressure. my old 4.3 could drive on its side for a few minutes.. pull the plugs out , hit the starter, spit the oil out, fire it up and smoke the rest of the oil out. has anybody played with the oiling system, we are thnking of baffleing the oil pan, but would like to see what else is out there we can do to prevent this...
