I was either going to go with HP or sound and I am leaning towards HP right now. I have about 2k to dump into the engine, however when it comes to that I am naive and dont know much. I have a 2002 ecotec. My current mods is just an rk sport intake, 2 1/4 exaust from the cat back, highflow muffler, short shifter, and it has a 1.7 drop. Also i dont really know alot of engine people around here so if anyone is around the NC area and can send me to someone respectable that would be good too. thanks in advanced guys
best bang for your buck is a nitrious system but be cafeful stock parts won't like a whole lot of nitrious about 75 or less dry shot works good for most engines
first thing you need to do is ask how much power do you want and how can keep the car "streetable" (if its not gonna be an all out race car
after you determine that the possibilities are nearly endless
you could turbo/supercharge stroke or destoke just look at what others have done and see their suscesses and failures and find out what would work best for you.
buy a redline 2.0sc eco and swap the blower and injectors and exhuast manifols, make a adapter for your throttle body and call it done
see ya!
^^^^^ and i can take care of that with $2k?
GM has the 2.0 supercaheged out as a crate motor now.......
1971 camaro 427 --- here!
Stock... and loving every minute of it.
why go with noise?....hmmmmm.stealth is the way to go...no stickers,no big fat tailpipe, performance[not slammed ]springs....probably will get more respect and a lot less attention from thieves and cops[arent they the same?]]
my car is more of a show car at the moment. I would like to get more performance out of it. I thought about dropping the 2.0 in there. Im still weighing my options i just wanted some input from some fellow j owners. thanks
