Does anyone know if the throttle body off an Ion is compatible with the throttle body off a Cavalier or a VUE or a Sun Fire or any other car with an Ecotec? Or exhaust header? Or any other bolt on part?

If anyone works at a dealership and can run some part numbers, that would be nice.

I was under the impression that the Ion's came with a cable-less throttle, and was actually throttle by wire. Id look to other ecotec equipped cars for TB's, and as for an exhaust mani, you might wanna find one from any of the SC'd versions of the ecotec, as they will have a higher flow rate than the stock N/A ones.

The Ion TB is the same P/N as the TB for all other ecotec TB's.

The vue is different TB thab the others.

Exhaust manifold is the same (#90537679)
Intakes are the same (#12587202)
and TB's are the same on 05+ but different for 02/03-04. The newer # is 12568796

Above is a cross reference between the VUE and the Ion.

Also, the Vue had a VTi transmission. On those the flexplates are different than Ion. Same if normal auto trans.

I don't have access to Chevy or Pontiac parts catalog here; only Saturn. So, I can't tell you about what was on other GM vehicles.
